[NEW RESEARCH – GetData] – Features are the biggest factor when deciding which HR software to choose, say SMBs

When it comes to choosing an HR application, its feature set is the most important factor to take into account, according to GetData research.

38% of SMBs polled said that features were the most important consideration when choosing a HR software. Security is clearly important too, as almost 30% respondents said this was their prime consideration when they decide which HR app to buy.

On the other hand, only a small minority of respondents cited the availability of a mobile app to have remote access as the key reason for choosing an app. However, still many choices are based on application integration and favorable reviews.

#1. Features (scheduling, payroll, etc.) – 38.6%

#2. Security of my employees’ data – 29.6%

#3. Good reviews and good reputation – 14.4%

#4. Integrates with other application – 10.2%

#5. A mobile app to have remote access – 3.8%

 


Demographics: Over 500 US-based respondents from a panel of SMBs (small and medium-sized businesses). Respondents are aged between 25 and 54 and have an average inferred annual income of $24k – $150k.
