Half of retail businesses are spending at least 3 hours per week syncing their online and offline orders and inventory, according to new research.


Key research findings:

  • 50% of retail businesses spend in excess of 3 hours / week syncing online orders and inventory
  • Almost 10% of businesses say they spend more than 10 hours / week doing their online and offline store syncing

#1: Less than an hour (33%)

#2: 3-5 hours (22%)

#3: 1-2 hours (17%)

#4: 6-8 hours (15%)

#5: More than 20 hours (5%)

#6: 9-11 hours (4%)

#7: 12-20 hours (4%)


Demographics: 100 US-based respondents from a panel of SMBs (small and medium-sized business) owners. Respondents are aged between 25 and 54 and have an average inferred annual income of $50k – $150k.


This research was conducted to better understand how much time per week is being occupied by online and offline syncing by retail store owners.
